Making friends

Needing support

Hi, I’m a mom of a sensory seeking toddler and really struggling keeping it together. I’m extremely burnt out and would appreciate connecting with a mother who understands this lifestyle. 🏴‍☠️

Baby milestones

Possible sensory disorder

I have 2 year old triplets, my middle triplet has a possible sensory disorder, we were not able to get in until late March to go through evaluation. In the meantime I'm losing my mind he screams about everything. From his brother looking at him to someone standing near him. It is constant and I've tried everything but I can just have him in a room all alone, I have 4 kids 4 and under. I just don't know what to do. Does anyone have any advice?.

Real talk

New to the whole sensory processing disorder world

Hi! My son was recently in food therapy because he his dentist suggested it after we were discussing his sensitivity to toothpaste as well as many other things. The food therapist suggested that my son may have SPD. We didn't continue going to this therapist because we didn't like her however I think she may have been right about SPD. He doesn't eat very many foods, he struggles at the sound of a spoon stirring milk in a glass, he also cannot stand the way his pants and underwear feel on him. The list is endless... anyways I'm very new to this world of sensory processing, if you have any tips, tricks or suggestions you have no clue how thankful I would be. I'm also open to learning more. We have a dr appt at up but it's not until next week. Google can't even begin to relate to what I've seen lately as far as meltdowns.

Losing my mind !

Really struggling mentally now.. My little on is now waiting for another paedeatrition appointment and has lots of things in place at school now but is having huge meltdowns now most days where things are thrown / ripped off the walls ... there's biting and scratching when really overwhelmed and was completely toilet trained but is now having accidents at school and I usually have to be called to come and sort it... its awful...we know its mainly the noise and excitement of the day that triggers it and transitions but I just don't know what else to do because things that were easy enough to do are becoming so difficult...like doing the shop today was a nightmare ... any advice would be great ! Thanks xxx
