This is probably a little “woo-woo” and not related solely to TTC but to menstrual health generally. I did a lot of research on the chemicals in cotton pads/tampons and the effect it can have on reproductive health. I ordered cloth reusable pads (I ordered from EcoWoman) and just had my first full day using them. I was worried because I typically have a heavy flow and also because I was worried they would be bulky. After the first full day I must say I was wrong! They are so comfortable, I’m not having any issues with flow and I have less cramps today than normal (which I’ve read can happen without the chemicals). I just wanted to share for anyone else out there who didn’t know this was a thing or was nervous to take the plunge. Highly recommend!

I’m going to give that a try, I too am sensitive and I’m actually allergic to most tampons so this might be a good alternative. Is it a lot of work to clean them?

I used Modibody period pants - they were absolutely amazing and I recommend them to everyone now. I could walk around the house in underwear and you wouldn’t know I was on my period. You can’t feel it or smell it!

Do they make all natural tampons? I hate pads lol

Best switch I ever made as well! Glad it worked well for you!

I switched from tampons to a period cup two years ago and it’s been the best change! Haven’t tried the reusable pads but definitely will!
