We aren’t planning much for her actual day as my husband might be working. If he is off then will go to zoo or safari part etc. We are having family and friends round at the weekend though. Not really going for a theme but she does like cocomelon so going to get some decorations involving that lol. I also booked a photograph to take some cake smash pics.

We have reserved a "mega hut" in a pub garden that holds 30 ppl. We also have the area in front so are looking forward to decorating it. My mother in law is making her cake and the food and drink is coming directly from the pub. Soft play area will be set up in he corner as well as a stack of highchairs 😀

I want to do something inclusive of everyone but also I don't want something that makes us loose concentration on our daughter on her day

With my first we had a picnic in a park. Took a gazebo, balloons & picnic and the cake. Then on his actual birthday we had a nice family day out.
My youngest is 3 may so we have found a hall in a park this time. Kids can run and play in the park and I will just use the hall for food and decorations.
Just don’t put yourself under too much pressure. Xx

We are planning a trip to the zoo with family, then all back to ours for a BBQ. Obviously weather dependent x

We’re having a party in the garden for a few hours, her birthday is 28th May so we’re hoping for good weather if not we’ll get a gazebo

We’re having family round for a little party, hoping for good weather to have it in the garden. We’re working on her actual birthday (3rd) and she’s at nursery so we’re celebrating on the bank holiday Monday the day before.

Thanks everyone! I am thinking maybe a picnic in a park with a splash area but obviously it depends in how busy it is if it's any good!
We was gonna use our garden but we have a good few chores to do in their and not enough time 🙈🤣.
With my son we had a drop in day for the family all popping in a different times which was great! My house is a bit too small this time round

We are hiring a hall not what I wanted but I co parent and having both our families in a small space is not advised 😂. I wanted to do a picnic in the park or go to a play area for a party xxx

I’m going to do my own cake smash and hiring someone is so much money, then maybe a bbq with the family in our garden. Hoping for good weather x

Reduced movements

Baby hadn’t moved for about 2 hours (that I can be sure of) but has now got hiccups and moving slightly again. Should I still go to triage or is that enough for things to be ok?

Growth scan

Just had a growth scan 35 + 2 and they said baby is weighing 3.5lbs, I had a growth scan at 28 weeks and he was 3lbs then. I’m back for a scan in 2 weeks but they said if he drops again they will look to induce me at 37-38 weeks now I’m scared!

Is anyone super sweaty down there?

I am around 21 weeks now, doing shopping today and was genuinely panicking my waters had leaked. Rang the local antenatal assessment and was suggested to change, pad up and monitor for an hour and go in to be checked if necessary. Been monitoring with toilet paper wads (as I didn't have maternity pads this early on!) and regular checking and luckily I think everything is okay... But seriously, was it just sweat??! Has anyone else experienced this?

Change of Midwife

I’m gutted, had the same midwife the whole way through (because my original midwife who I never actually saw was on long term sick leave) and now they have put me with the one that was off 😭 I’m probably being dramatic but I’m 5 weeks away from my due date and had so much confidence in my midwife and now I’ve been put with someone I’ve never met and not comfortable with 😭
