Youth menopausal

Hi ladies! I’m 25, I had a total hysterectomy & double mastectomy due to BRCA mutation. I had my first hot flash about 6wks after my surgery and can I just say I never knew you could burn from the inside out!

Hi Kay. I had a total hysterectomy at 41 with ovaries removed as well. I was put on livial 3 days after and have been on it since. I have stopped it a few times but was so tired I went back on it. I have had no hot flushes or any other symptoms. I am 63. I envisage continuing it until I retire.

I had a total hysterectomy at age 37. I also cannot go on hormone replacement therapy due to having blood clot issues. So my hot flashes and menopause symptoms were extremely bad. But I got through it and you can get through it and then no more periods in pain and all that discomfort for so many years to come. Just make it through this time. And you’ll be very happy with the results.

Oh girl I feel this. I had mine at 29, now 36. I was having hot flashes and night sweats. The burning inside out is awful!! I do take a natural supplement that I found a year ago, it helps balance hormones and it’s helped me TREMENDOUSLY!!!

There are different kinds of HRT to help with different medical conditions no woman can be denied HRT they just need a different one. See your health practitioner ❤️❤️

Hello 🙂 you *might* still be able to go onto HRT y'know... if you fancy a read, there's a book called Oestrogen Matters that is really helpful (link below).

There are lots of other things you can do to help with symptoms too. You'll find loads of info to get you started on our M-brace The Change website here:

Hope that helps a bit 🙂❤️

Biote pellets were my savior!

Consider Chinese medicine as a layer on or even as a primary treatment.
Herbal supplements (as pills or as a powder added to hot water) and acupuncture both helped me deal wi to fibroids and got me through menopause.
I got lucky and found aomeone that had treated a lot of women with fibroids and other female health issues.
Still see her every month!

I was put into the menopause aged 36 for breast cancer so HRT was strongly contradicted. However my symptoms were so severe I could hardly leave the house and had no quality of life at all. I was referred to a menopause clinic as my life was unbearable. HRT would increase the risk of my cancer returning. Instead I was prescribed Gabapentin to reduce hot flushes and night sweats. This did reduce the severity by some however it still wasn’t enough and didn’t help with any other symptoms. I had insomnia and sometimes could go 2-3 days without sleep. Due to my lack of quality of life I was then prescribed HRT. To reduce the risk I take a progesterone tablet but oestrogen skin gel. This way I can receive the lowest level of oestrogen needed to make symptoms bearable and applied locally again reducing the risk.

This has given me back my life, I do worry about the risk but it’s one worth taking for me because without it I didn’t have a life. There are more options than you think.
