Potty training

I made it a game with my oldest boy. I started right before he turned 3. We live in the country so I would take him outside and tell him to put out the “fire” like firefighters do or if there’s an ant bed I would have him “get the ants” and that seemed to help a lot! You could also try sitting him on the potty and ask him to “show his muscles” try running the faucet too while he’s sitting the sounds can help him go too!

I made up a potty song which she loved. We would sing and match to the potty and she eventually went. When she did go she was excited and been trained ever since and stays dry over night. She self initiated. We are still working on poop though lol.
