Did it take some getting used to the menstrual cup? What kind do you have? A little TMI but let’s just say it’s not working properly, trying to watch a Videos on the fold lol. I’m thinking maybe I just need to try different brand

I nuch prefer the cup, found tampons really uncomfortable post first baby!

I use the diva cup, I love it!

I have the Lunette cup. It has 2 sizes. I have used it for 7 years.

Im a psw so i need the cup as it can stay inside for 12 hrs 😁. Diva cup. And i use a liner for any oopsies.

I’ve used a Diva cup since 2011.

There are a bunch of quizzes and videos that help you find the right cup. There is a steep learning curve, but when you get it, it’s the most comfortable thing. I love my Ruby cup!

I have a tilted cervix, so while the cup was better than a tampon, the disc was MUCH better. I think they're easier for beginners too.
I ended up with the reusable Lumma disc. Don't get frustrated; it may take some time to find your Goldilocks. Check out the "put a cup in it" website & fb group. The site has a quiz that may help with picking something out, and the group is a wealth of knowledge. Good luck!

Hi, I used this test and watch so many of her videos (https://www.periodnirvana.com/menstrual-cup-quiz/). It's really helpful. Ended up ordering the menstrual disc from nixit and it's amazing. Hopefully this helps x

Using some lube helps! Also warm the cup under warm water makes it more flexible!

Used a Luna cup and then had my son and had to go up to the bigger size so it would stay in.

I use the Saalt cup as well as others have mentioned. I know they have two different sizes, I use the small one now, but I think if you have had a vaginal birth you need to use the next size up 🥴 It was really helpful to me to watch instructional videos on YouTube. Everybody is different, so a fold that works well for one night not work well for the other!

I have been using pretty lady cup since 2012 no issues I have also bought a few others since have had no issue I started using when I wasn’t on my cycle so that I could the feeling right without the mess then my first cycle I would change the position everytime I changed it so I knew with was better for no leak by day two no issues all

My favorite is actually Thinx underwear. Then disc before cup. But I also found out I have a tilted cervix! But now I really dislike tampons. Will still do occasionally though

I use a flex disk and it's been a game changer!

I have 2 Luna cups that I rotate each period.
I ordered more but in the next size up, it's like 1mm bigger but they don't fit, it won't pop open when inside me. I'll try them again after birth 😂
You can have them in for up to 12hrs, so I basically change them in the shower every morning and night, they're fantastic.

Will never go back, love the cup. Started with the Diva then bough a love cup. Do a lil spin once in to seal.

This quiz was super helpful for me to find the right cup.

The parent site also has great insight on cups and how to use them.

I used the honey pot and it does take a little to get use too but it is much more efficient then tampons

YES I have the TOM cup- best cup I’ve tried. It’s only in the car as “emergency” back up though, I don’t use it primarily. I use cloth pads and period undies and if caught out, then the cup ☺️
Even though I’m over 30 and have had a baby I’m still a size 1- not 2 like suggested. So trial and error as well. I didn’t like Diva brand. I like Tom as well coz it comes in its own steriliser
Brands vary by country as well, sometimes I can’t get something in US and they can’t get the brand I get, for example.

I gave up trying to use it and use flex disc instead. Can't feel it at all

I use the flex disc and I'm in love with it. I don't even feel like I have my period when I use it and it lasts up to 12 hours. It's so easy to place and take out.

Thank you everyone so much!!!
