Looking for weight loss friends

Today I went to the gym for the 1st time in forever. I've already lost 30 lbs from cutting soda out of my life due to migraines. Was 209 now I'm stuck at 188. Anyone else self-conscious when going to gym? I'm 46 and when I got to gym it seemed everyone was already skinny. I don't really diet much and I'm interested in finding something. I can't do keto cuz of my meds and I don't eat alot of meat. I have already cut down portion sizes. Any tips would be great!

Great job! I have so much to lose and struggle staying motivated. The gym gives me anxiety because everyone does seem skinny or just trying to be cute and seen.

I sat in parking lot for 10 min before I went in

I’m gonna just start walking and work my way up lol

Congrats on your journey. Your doing an awesome job. I personally work out at home. I hate that feeling too at the gym. I wanted to tell you. I consume nutritious supplement shakes, as well as eat healthier with good high in proteins. I only work out 20-45 minutes a day and lost 13 lbs in less than 2 months. Are you ready to boost your energy and continue this weight loss journey?

I was exactly the same. Iv being going to the gym since last November. And still get nervous. But what you need to do Is chuck on playlist and go for it. No one is watching you. They are all concentrating in themselves. Well done for taking the first step. Xx

I felt the same way at the gym. I've now cancelled my gym membership and have a "gym" in my house but now I need the motivation to use it at home! Ugh the struggle is real...

I feel you, I canceled my membership too and we have a gym at home and a peloton. Honestly I don’t have a set schedule for the time I work out. I just make sure I do it and that’s it. On weekends I wake up. Wash my face and throw on my workout outfit. If I run errands or whatever I know I need to workout. Find what fits for you. Not everything is the same. I am on motivational group chats as a coach and people add their workouts, their progress pics, food options and recipes and personal development messages. So worth it.

Great job, I lose 10lbs since last month, No exercise no diet, very healthy, my next goal is 170lbs 😝
