Empty Nester

I just turned 47 this past weekend. All four of my babies are grown, moved out of the house and having babies of their own. I’ve been a sahm for so long, I don’t even know where or how to start. Why can’t there be a “friend store”? Lol. I live in Washington state not far from Olympia. Please, someone, I wanna go on an adult only play date and meet some more women. I’m not a full member so feel free to contact me at jvajtai at yahoo. There has got to be other women out there that are moms to adult children, grand babies that they wished they could see more often, and an empty hole inside that could easily be filled with a girlfriend, long laughs and chats, tearful comforting, shopping, trail walks, and a cocktail now and then. Wanna be friends?

My hometown is called Walnut Grove, but it’s not Little House in the Prairie

Your hometown is Walnut Grove? Like Little House on the Prairie? ☺️

Hi Christy! I’m happy to meet you. I will be visiting Oklahoma in September or October to visit my god-parents. I’ve never been there before. My husband and I have been married for almost 5 years. We met on match.com! Lol. It works, who knew? 😂 I have 4 kids from my previous marriage, 3 girls and one boy. Between the 4 of them I have 8 grandkids, 6 boys and 2 girls ages 22 mo - 11. They are my heart! ❤️ All of my kids live in different states - Oregon, Idaho, California, and Colorado. So I don’t get to see them as much as I’d like. But my husband (who loves my kids and grands w/ all his heart) works hard to make sure I get to see them as often as possible. My husband doesn’t have any children of his own and has never been married before me. I’m a stay at home wife, but we also help take care of my dad. He’s almost 72 and very active but when my mother passed in 2018, he crumbled and doesn’t want to be alone. It’s nice to meet you.
