for me it’s been the worst symptom of menopause next to the hot flushes 😫

Yes I had it. Used to drive me to distraction. I used aveeno cream with menthol seemed to help a little and aveeno lotion with oatmeal helps too. It does stop eventually.

Yes....it's awful, between sweating and itching, enough to drive you mad!!!

I tried antihistamines for a period of time but it did nothing for me personally

it’s weird how some women don’t get the itching at all and others get it so badly. Such fun! πŸ˜•

Mine was between the shoulder blades and ankles but HRT soon sorted it out πŸ˜‚

funny what areas it attacks. Mines been my palms mostly which is the biggest surprise. I’m not on patches anymore. Sage has been amazing to treat the hot flushes but no idea how to rid myself of the ridiculous itching

Have you checked with the GP that there's nothing to be done to help? I had bloods done and found I needed more vitamins, the itching has almost gone x

My itching was actually diagnosed as eczema cause by my new-found hormonal imbalance. Doctor prescribed a steroid cream and it was over in a day. It occasionally reoccurred, but the cream did the trick every time.

I take 10 mg of loratadine every morning without fail It kicked in after a week and I just keep taking it because if I miss 1 then I start the itching again.
Another that has been a success for me Is The sanctuary wet skin moisturizer. After your shower apply to wet skin all over let it dry and it not only moisturizers but stop my skin from feeling itchy too.
