Potty training

I started at 2 1/2. She finally got it a few weeks ago and she is now 3. She still sleeps in a pull up at night and when we go somewhere. Her new daycare said they will get her out of pull ups completely.

I've started, my LO is 20 months, but he's very aware and tells us when his nappy is wet, or needs a wee or poo. I've had a potty in the living room for a couple months which he sits on for fun etc, but today - I started properly and he has had 4 wees on the potty and was VERY proud of himself. And when he has felt uncomfortable he has asked for a nappy to be put on so he can go toilet. It's a start!

Oh it gets better. My question is how do you teach a 3 year old how to wipe themselves after pooping...let alone by themself? 🤦‍♀️ That is the expectation for daycare.

I started mine about 1 half because I felt like he was ready and I'm the only women in the house so now he uses toilet standing up because he watches everyone
