Starting icsi for sperm dna fragmentation

We don’t personally have sperm dna fragmentation, but I have read that the man should release daily up until egg collection as this improves the fragmentation. Good luck 😊

Frequent ejaculation, every day to every other day, male fertility vitamins (conception XR male fertility vitamins), ICSI, some doctors believe in using the zymot chip, zero alcohol, no smoking nor any marijuana products. In some cases doctors believe in doing a tese procedure to get sperm right from the testes.

I had 7 eggs retrived but only 2 fertilized via ivf the doc think my husband sperms might be fragmentated. Both of embryo made had it day 5. We did a fresh transfer which failed. The second fet was successful. I'm currently 6weeks 7day today.

My husband sperms had been tested and had some very slight motility issue but overall the clinic were happy it. The sperms on the day was also fine. Seem to have been a fertility issue as we had low fertilized. What did fertilized made to Blastocyst. If we do more ivf we been advise to ICSI

Hi @Grace I hope you don't mind me asking but I wondered how the ICSI went with your husband's DNA fragmentation. We're in the same situation, starting next month so any words of advice or encouragement would be greatly appreciated

It went great, I’m 11 weeks pregnant on Monday so our first frozen transfer was a success. We harvested 19 eggs, 13 made it to day 5 and 9 were genetically tested sound. Was going to do a fresh transfer after harvest but I was overstimulated and they didn’t want to risk it so waited for my next cycle and put a frozen one in

No worries!
The specialist said we could do vitamins for a few months and retest but didn’t sound that promising and my husband wasn’t the best with remembering them consistently so we didn’t bother retesting them and just went onto icsi

thank you for replying! We’re waiting my husbands results hopefully get them this week. We had a failed round of ivf last year but hoping to start icsi next month but have been advised to wait if it comes back positive but I’m so done with waiting! Lol
