So, I am 42 years old.
I am pretty sure I am in perimenopause.
I have all the symptoms, mood swings, hot flashes, restlessness, decreased sexual libido, etc.
Somedays I honestly hate myself.
But recently I have been having heavy bleeding and abdominal pain after sex. My periods have always been normal. I feel like I have been bleeding for like a month now.
I did go to my PCP and I was sent for bloodwork and an ultrasound.
All my bloodwork was within normal limits and they found a few fibroid cyst on my ovaries on ultrasound.
Next I have to make an appointment with my OB/GYN...but they are scheduling out until the end of December.
No Bueno. I need to know what is going on soon.
I'm scared.
Cancer is highly prevalent on both my mothers and fathers side. My mother actually died from ovarian cancer.
Or maybe this is just part of menopause.
My question is has anyone else ever experienced this and should I be worried?

It’s key to get to your optimal health by eating clean, getting to your optimal weight, regular exercises, balancing your hormones, regenerating your human growth hormones (naturally), getting good sleep, and achieving cellular vitality and maintaining them to steer through peri menopausal symptoms.

Sure.
I am not religious but I am spiritual.
I am also an RN.
I am pretty healthy other then this new problem.
I eat well, work hard, sleep schedule is...eh

Np, I use homeopathic supplements to help me in these areas.

Do you have any unwanted pounds you would ideally want to release?

Have you gotten blood work done to see if your levels are all balanced?

Here are the supplements I am using for these.

My bloodwork was normal, my weight is perfect.
I have been taking multi- vitamins and magnesium for several years

The supplements above help me with mood swings, hot flashes, libido, etc. Want to try some?

Sorry.
I'm not buying whatever you are selling.
The other symptoms of menopause I can live with it.
I'm more concerned about the bleeding and abdominal pain.

Np

What is in that?

I'm still going to my OB/GYN before taking and unprescribed medications or supplements to make sure there isn't something seriously wrong and not just masking my symptoms.
I saw another post from someone here about adenomyosis. I'm usually against trusting "Dr. Google", but I have all of the symptoms.
I will be discussing this with my doctor.
Thanks though.

FYI...coming from a medical professional, after researching a little about this stuff.
I don't recommend that you recommend this to anyone before speaking to a physician first.
Just sayin'

Hi love!
1. Please continue to search for another doctor to see prior to December if possible. You are your best and sometimes only advocate. Ask friends, family, call other clinics and offices.
2. Easier said than done I know, I am a cancer survivor but try not to worry. It could be a wide variety of things going on besides cancer.
3. You do sound like you could be perimenopausal with the other symptoms listed.
4. Please don't judge this is a statement as it affected me this way, but just because it happened to me doesn't mean it happens to everyone but the j&j covid shot messed with my cycle instantly and pushed me over the edge from perimenopause to menopause with bleeds that are not true periods anymore. But I also had a friend who had covid and it seriously messed with her cycle to the point she had to take meds and on the verge of having a hysterectomy.

True, I would of course recommend taking the advice of a Dr. Not the internet or some random person on an app. I was just saying that this is what helped me after nothing else did. Thanks

Read one of Dr Lee’s books on perimenopause find his books on Amazon. He suggested progesterone cream that you can get a health food store or Amazon …it was literally life changing! That was 10 years ago …go down it now!! It’s so informative do not suffer! I swear if I’d not found that book and started progesterone cream I’d been suicidal …sad but true
