Can I ask with 5, why do you boil breastmilk before freezing it? I store mine in the bags abd then straight into the freezer once labelled

Thank you so much for posting this ❤️

Great list 🙌🙌🙌
Can I ask about number 3 please ?

I would be cautious with number 1 if you want to BF. I was desperate to BF, did so exclusively for first week, then pressured to give ‘top ups’ with formula in a bottle. Bottle preference is very real for some babies! My supply suffered too and no matter how much I pumped from 6 weeks onwards it didn’t help. Some babies and mums may be fine to do both from the start, but some won’t.

Number 1 for me is more to get more help with feedings. My daughter was born via c-section, and was also in the nicu. I got sick with a bad cold so I wasn’t allowed in the NICU to breastfeed, so they were giving her formula with bottles. By the time she was able to come home she wouldn’t latch. She would just take pumped milk and wouldn’t breastfeed. Up until a month when she finally latched and I was strictly breastfeeding from them🤣. So no help with feeding from that point , because I was so excited she was breastfeeding.

Why separate morning milk from night just curious?

Cool, thanks 😊

Also, this is all great advice for mums who plan on having pumping being the main part of their breastfeeding journey. But for mums who plan on EBF none of this is needed or required!

10,11,12,13,14,15, and 17 are all good tips for exclusively nursing 😊
