The only pregnancy I’ve ever had was my 3rd fresh ivf cycle which resulted in a chemical. I’ve read RI specialise and tend to work for those who have repeated miscarriages but I don’t see many stories about those who have had repeated implantation failure.
Has RI worked for anyone who has had failed ivf attempts? For my last cycle I was hopeful as I was put on low dose steroids, aspirin, clexane and it still failed.
However I’ve never been tested for nk cells, and am wondering if my steroid dose has been too low? I have booked into see a RI in london but the tests are almost 3k and I don’t know if it’s even going to be worth it 😕

Repeated implantation failure here. Our last resort was seeking out a RI after a failed FET with steroids & clexane included.
So glad we did as it resulted in our first ever successful FET and I'm currently 23 weeks pregnant after 7 years of unexplained infertility. You won't know unless you try. I'm in Oz so can't recommend a RI in London but wish you the best of luck in finding answers.
Oh wow thank you so much!! And congratulations! Do you mind me asking what dose steroids and clexane you had? And was this dose based upon high nk cells or something else? Thanks for that story, gives me some hope!
Oh wait, I think I’ve mis read your message. Was the failed FET with steroids and clexane? And then you seeked RI advice? Or was that what they recommended and it worked?

I did have them in my unsuccessful FET (prescribed by my FS to treat my high NK cells) but for successful FET the steroids and clexane were increased to a higher dosage by the RI.
Prednisone 20mg from day 1. I'm still taking 12.5mg and slowly weening off. Clexane 40mg started a week before transfer and still completing daily injections. I also had LIT as the RI found we were a partial DK alpha match. The RI also prescribed Doxycycline 7 days before transfer. Other than those I had the regular proyynova, provera & progesterone pessaries that I've had every other FET.
Unsure of what was the magic factor but I assume it was the diagnosis of the partial match and the LIT treatment.
Thank you so much this is super helpful and gives me some hope! X
