Gifts for newly pregnant friend

My childhood best friend just told me she was pregnant and is super excited. She’s still super early but I want to get her something since she’s been in my life since we were just a few months old. I live across the country so it would have to be delivered by mail.
I’m hoping for some ideas, mainly just things for her since people always focus on gifting things for the baby. Any ideas are welcome!
What were some things you needed during your first and second trimester? What things did you need if you had a Summer baby?

First trimester: a nausea care basket lol... crackers, unisom/vit b6, Gatorade, anti nausea bracelets etc...second trimester I felt great, but massages are amazingggg at this point. Summer baby: sunglasses, sunhat

Definitely include snacks that will help with the nausea or a pregnancy pillow! I got mine super early in my pregnancy way before I needed it and I loved it even before I got big

I think a little treat basket of some of her favourite snacks and a couple pamper things like a facemask and maybe a little pair of baby socks would be cute
Just wanted to say this is also really nice that you’re doing this for her too, pregnancy can be incredibly lonely and she’s lucky to have you xx

I was super lonely and stressed during my pregnancy and she was there whenever I needed her. It’s only right that I do the same!

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃
