Was put on a monitor earlier for changes in movement. She moved consistently for over an hour but movements felt different then she just stopped and didn’t move again for 2 hours. Went to triage and they put me on a monitor. The toco reading was between 35-40 normal and when I had a braxton hick went to 60-65 then just before coming off it started to get really painful and went up to 107… is that a braxton hick too? They told me to monitor them at home. Anyone else experienced this?

I’ve been monitored twice for reduced movement and the toco number fascinated me. Mine went up to 32 twice so I had a Google and 32 is nothing, minor braxton hicks. Im probably wrong but it seemed like anything between 40-60 is the start of contractions and over that is proper labour Contractions. This is totally not reliable and I’ve just read bits on Google so please don’t take my word for it and it must be wrong if
You’re not feeling pain etc. but that’s what Google told me, which defos isn’t reliable!

I also saw that on Google! I’ve been having period like cramps but the midwife said it was braxton hicks and that I was fine to go home. I’ve still go them now and have had them all evening. Sometimes lasting over a minute! And have been happening at least every 5 minutes but they’re not strong enough to be concerned and are just braxton hicks apparently. Very stressful 😂

I ended up on the ward at 26 weeks because my BH were measuring u to 60-80! I really really hate them. Have them constantly. It is my second though. So uncomfortable 😣 I’m now 33 weeks. Anyone else literally counting the days?!
