Monitoring - Toco readings

I’m 38 weeks tomorrow and went into triage for the first time this morning as was worried about reduced movements which started yesterday.

They were so accommodating and helpful and definitely put my mind at ease so am very glad I went in to be checked as all was ok 😊

When being monitored over the course of an hour though we noticed my Toco readings raising up to 40-50 and even up to 100 at one point. Sometimes this felt like tightening (which I do experience a lot but was never sure if it was Braxton hicks or not) and other times I didn’t feel it at all!

When the midwife came to check the chart she was quite surprised and asked if I was feeling anything as she said it was peaking once in every 10 minute period. She said it could be my body preparing for labour which got my very excited but I’m also aware could still be weeks away!

The bottom graph on the chart shows the pattern of peaks!

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced similiar before going into labour or if it’s just a bit of a fluke!!

I went in for an induction one eve of my due date with my first and the machines showed I was already having contractions every 3 mins. I had no idea 😅

I find it crazy that we can’t even feel it! Makes me think it’s false!

Yeah! I would have agreed with u that it was a mistake if I hadn’t given birth around 12 hours later 😅

Yes!! I went in because I felt like I was having Braxton hicks every 3 minutes at home.. I could see and feel them ) not painful. And sure enough, they hooked me up for an hour and I was having them every 3 minutes! I have to drink soooo much water like 15 glasses a day to not get them this often!

Pregnancy after c section

I need advice I had a c section and my baby now is 7 months. We definitely want a second one, just not sure when it is safe to plan the second one. I would like a natural birth because we want more than two.
And I know for sure if the second one would be a c section then that's it, no more

11 weeks pp and pregnant?!

Im absolutely shitting myself, me and my partner have been so carefull (we use condoms and he also pulls out) but im late on my period and i cant get to the shop for a few days due to no car and im thinking im possibly pregnant. When i was pregnant before the animals were different the dog became more protective of me and the cat hated me and always tried to bite me. and they have recently been the same. Im trying to think if i have any possible early symptoms so i can convince myself im not 😂 the only thing i have is feeling sick alot and nauseous lol.

Suitable for a wedding?

I’ve ordered this dress for a wedding. Is it ok as it has some white on?

Is this dress yes or a no?

We are going to Japan for 3 weeks in July and 13 of those days we are on a cruise. There is a bunch of formal nights and formal events and for some of them I’m doing a 80’s glam theme. I already got the dresses for those but I’m looking for some fun and fancy dresses that aren’t vintage also. I’ve been eyeing this particular dress for MONTHS. I kind of love it, but I think it might also be too weird 😆. What do you think?

C section form

Anyone had to sign a contest form for their c section? And go through loads of risk factors of the surgery? I have mine tomorrow and had to do all that, I’m now terrified lol
