Mama Natural or Kopa birth class?

So I've been looking into birth class, mainly online birth classes because of my jobs crappy hours. I've always wanted to do a natural birth in a hospital. I've been researching the Mama Natural and Kopa birth classes. I've read articles comparing them and watch all of the free content they both offer. I would love to take them both and there is still a possibility that I might be able to take them both (one now and one in a couple months) but right now money is a little tight and it will be tight for another month or two. I'm a little worried about spending so much and I can't decide which to purchase at the moment due to some factors. 1. I watched the free first session from Kopa and it seemed a little goofy, like an a Dora the explorer episode for giving birth. She would ask a question, pause as if we are supposed to respond but its a recording, it was just a little weird. My husband who was watching it with me said something about wanting to be high for the second session. I definitely wouldn't mind all of this if it is helpful, which I definitely think I would be. From the first session I got so good info and would be interested in the course even if it continues in a Dora episode way. 2. I'm a little turned off from the Mama Naturals birth class because they don't have a free first session. 260$ is a lot of money to spend when you don't have a good idea of what your getting. At least with Kopa I know it's a little goofy and what the session structure is gonna be like. But it has a 30 day money back guarantee so not the biggest deal. Plus they do have a quick intro video I watched and if that is any indicator about the class I'm fairly confident I would like it. 3. I really like how Kopa has a meal plan. If you've taken the class, is this worth it? Is the meal plan any good? I'm so intrigued because I've been struggling with food a lot during pregnancy, from not being able to eat to not eating healthy to just keeping food down. 4. Kopa seems to have more material. I could be wrong, I haven't taken either class, but from what I can see on their websites kopa has more material for 20 dollars less. 5. Kopa has a mock labor. I just feel like this could be helpful. I'm kinda leaning towards Mama Natural because what I've read up on, Kopa seems more educational or maybe just informational but Mama Naturals seems to be more warm and fuzzy and rn I need the warm and fuzzies. I just wanna hear from people who have take one or both classes. Sorry for any typos.

I took the Mama Natural course and neither loved nor hated it. I did get it when it was on sale for Black Friday, so I think I paid $190. There is a lot of good material, but it is also very Christian-centric and they included things like lotus birth in possibilities for you to use in your birth plan, which I didn't love. They do provide a lot of material for what you're paying for, though!

I dont know these options but i liked my hypnobirthing class (online). If you want, you can get a feel for her BirthBox on Pop That Mumma's page on tiktok and here on peanut. Sounds like you're leaning toward Kopa from your post though - trust your gut! I think the weird Dora energy is common in childbirth series for some reason (making you comfortable leading I to scary labor maybe? Not sure) good luck!

@Abby 😬😬😬 Idk how I feel about that tbh. Thank you a lot for you comment this is very helpful.

@Anna I'll look into that thanks. I kinda figured a lot of birth classes would have that Dora energy lol. Thanks again.
