πŸ₯³πŸŽ‰πŸͺ…

Well my brain has had to expand in ways that I wasn't even sure were possible anymore, but TAN TAN TARAAAAA! I've flipping finished the Newson/Fourteenfish Confidence In The Menopause course! πŸ₯³πŸŽ‰πŸͺ…

This is the same free-to-access course that is available to UK healthcare professionals, including GPs and NPs, so there's no direct financial cost to surgeries to complete this training and give better menopause care πŸ™‚ It just takes time and headspace... If your healthcare professionals aren't clued up, you might want to let them know about this.

Perimenopause

Hi everyone I’m new to this page. I’m currently menopausal and I’m 42. I feel like I’m actually going insane as I’m permanently forgetting everything especially conversations with people it’s terribly embarrassing and I’m so low. I forget words and have to replace them with another word.I feel like I’m in a trance most of the time as well. I’m having really bad anxiety and panic attacks. Other symptoms are extremely crawling skin, hair loss, dry mouth and eyes and the tiredness and fatigue are horrific Iv been having naps during the day. Can anybody relate at all especially the forgetfulness/words. There’s Alzheimer’sin my family and I’m panicking it’s that. If anybody can try and reassure me I would be so grateful. Iv just had the mirena coil fitted and I’m on HRT gel.

Thanks

Slow going towards sobriety

Im working on sobriety on multiple fronts. Im at 5 weeks for alcohol, 3 weeks for weed and two weeks for nicotine. Most of my day I feel slow, irritable and angry. Trying to read my books and leave others alone. Hoping this gets easier to bear
