good to know! I saw it scrolling on tik tok & have never heard of it!

Avatar

what is in it? Haven’t heard of it either!

it says apricot juice, lemon verbena tea, castor oil, and almond butter!

soo interesting, how did it taste tho?😂😂

Haha yikes I have def not heard of that!! But I don’t think I’d drink castor oil unless it was a complete last resort!

I think I’ll try blending it with pineapple or something when the time comes😅 I figured it didn’t taste the best

I did ! Had really strong contractions, did a lot of walking around. My water broke 42 hours later. So idk if it worked. but I did the midwives brew that my midwife gave me that tasted exactly like an orange creamsicle.

I did it! And it worked for me! And my friend too!

I’ll try this one!!! Seems I might be able to keep it down 😂

it definitely tasted really good. I could taste a hint of the castor oil but I just added a bit more orange juice & ice cream & it got rid of it. my contractions started hours after.. my water broke less than 48 hours later. I drank one on a Thursday, a small amount.. like a quarter of the recipe & i had minor contractions .. I called my midwife Friday & told her & she said noo make a whole serving on the paper & drink the whole thing, so I did & drank it on Friday night. Woke up Saturday & felt sick & was having insane contractions.. but I thought they were Braxton hicks so I went to do a whole bunch of shopping, came home around 9pm and my contractions wouldn’t stop.. even when resting, called my midwife, she told me to go in.. hospital released me at 2am on Sunday..went home tried to go to sleep.. couldn’t fall asleep & as soon as I do I get a sharp pain in my side, go to turn & my water broke .. this was at 7am on Sunday. soo I’d say it worked.

I did mine with my second baby and drank it before bed then again when I woke up in the morning , labored allll day and did not know. By the time I felt contractions they were already 1-2 min apart and got to the hospital he came out 30 min after I was admitted ☺️ will be taking it again this time around

Placenta abruption

Hi ladies.
I’m currently 30 weeks + 1 day, I’ve had my midwife appointment which ended up going to triage and having an emergency scan, to then see the Docter who mentioned placenta abruption, but they didn’t really go into to much detail, just told me no heavy lifting, avoid using the hoover 🤷‍♀️ baring In mind I work in hospitality so on my feet a lot etc, also be told to call triage immediately if I have more reduced movements, bleeding or loss of fluids.

Has anyone had any experience with placenta abruption that could in lighten me a little I know everyone’s difference but I just feel a bit lost 😂

I’m in the waiting phase for my second baby

Please comment how far along were you when your baby came. I’m trying to see if I have realistic expectations on when my second baby might come. First came at 39W+1 and I’m currently 38W+1 with my second. I’m hoping she comes at 39W like her brother.

Trying to survive third trimester

I’m 30+3, baby is head down and measuring in 94th percentile. I have another growth scan at 36 weeks. This kid is pressing so hard into my cervix, yet simultaneously keeping me from being able to breathe. I’m so nauseous and have slept like crap. How do we survive the last 8+ weeks of this?
