Anyone that’s been on Inhixa injections for blood thinning, is there anything I can do to stop the stinging? I’ve tried to use ice to numb the area but I can still feel everything compared to every other injection for the IVF I’ve had and it feels so sore for a little while afterwards.

I’ve just finished 12 weeks of them! The only thing I could do was not to rub it after, I tended to do mine right before bed so I couldn’t feel the discomfort for too long. They’re horrible. Sending you loads of luck xx

oh gosh 12 weeks?! Brave lady! I’m only on day 2 and hate them. Yeah I’ve been doing them just before I go to bed xx

I made my other half do them, I couldn’t stand it! Such a wimp! 🤣 it seems like such a long time, kept looking at all the boxes thinking they’d never go down, but it did go quickly. But was always the worst part of the day!!x

Yeah it's definitely a thicker needle in comparison to any other injections I have used and leaves quite easily a small light bruise on each site that gets injected, and that is perfectly normal I have been told. I find that icing the area before and then using a pre injection alcohol swab, plus icing right after (once more 😅) really really helps, I can guarantee that in my case after it does not hurt at all, despite having the bruise and I do mine just before breakfast! What does hurt for me is that double Lubion every day AM & PM, simply cause the oily consistency takes a while to absorb. Anyway with Inhixa also make sure to leave about 1 or 2 cm between each injection you do, I find that helps too plus keeping track somewhere of where you are injecting so that each bit of skin gets a few days rest 🍍🤞 you got this 👍 😉

Forgot to say also make sure there is no drop hanging from the needle, if the needle has some of the product out when you inject it does sting a lot more, like for me this morning 😅 but luckily ice after helps numb the area.

Hi ladies I’ve been prescribed inhixa and baby aspirin ahead of transfer - how many of you have had a successful pregnancy on blood thinners ?

@Hayley-Elizabeth I used inhixa until 10 weeks pregnant (could not wait to stop), and then the midwife put me on aspirin from 12 weeks till I reach 36 weeks I believe. So far so good we just hit the 23 weeks mark 🤞best of luck and baby dust to you x

Thank you 🙏🏻 xx
