Hey mamas just wanted to check in with some of you who have delivered here recently, I’ve seen some posts saying all the rooms are private and haven’t double checked with my dr just yet about it but wanted to see if anyone has had experience delivering here and how were the rooms/ cost for private room? Thanks in advance ♥️♥️

thanks! Glad to hear!! I gave birth at Mackenzie health back in 2020 and had to pay for private room so just wanted to be sure

They might ask you to pay or for your insurance coverage, my midwife told me to say “whatever I’m covered for” even their ward rooms are private so if they ask you to pay, don’t (unless you want a specific or bigger room) but you’ll be getting a private room regardless

Yes private room no cost. They ask if you have any coverage and u just tell them you want whatever is free that’s what I did

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Hi guys so I’m 25 weeks today and I haven’t felt the baby kick at all yet at the scans she’s moving constantly that it’s hard to get the right measurements my first pregnancy was cryptic so I just want suggestions from one worried mother

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃
