Kendamil too rich?

Has anyone else found their baby can’t tolerate the kendamil powder formula? Baby is exclusively breastfed other than a combi bottle before bed. Previously he was fine with 50/50 ready made kendamil and expressed milk. I was hoping to move to a full bottle of formula in the evening as I’m tired of pumping but the first night trying 80/20 with powdered formula and breastmilk and baby has just been sick in his cot. Anyone else found that baby can tolerate ready made but not powdered kendamil? Not ideal when ready made bottles are so expensive 😂 Any alternative formulas that have suited mostly breastfed babes? Thanks!

There's a "Kendamum" support page on Facebook which is great! There's been a few who write about RTF V powder... might be worth having a look, see if you can get some answers/ tips etc x

@Amelia that is really helpful, thank you! ☺️ It’s so difficult to know if it’s definitely that or just a totally random thing but good to hear others have reported it too

@Tara amazing, thank you!

We don’t have quite the same issue but our girl has to have at least 2 bottles RTF a day and the other 3 powder otherwise she can’t poo! She was on just RTF until she was 6 months and now we have to alternate the bottles. So although it’s not being sick her tummy doesn’t tolerate the powder as well as RTF!

@Abbie ah that’s interesting, clearly I’m not imagining the difference between powder and RTF then! 😂 thanks

Kendamil didn't suit our little one at all either, he had horrible smelly sick on it. We switched to Hipp Organic and he's like a different baby. It's a gentle formula with a probiotic to help them digest the milk. Hope you get your LO sorted! X

@April it’s fascinating how different they all are! We tried hipp and it made our girls reflux so much worse and the smell of fishy vomit was awful! Particularly as I’m vegetarian!

@April I’ve heard good things about Hipp Organic too! Thank you for the tip ☺️
