Hi all, I'll be 33 weeks this weekend and we are taking the plunge and going pram shopping. Looking to get a pram, car seat or a travel system. Will be looking in mamas and papas and John lewis. Any recs? We've got about 1k as a budget. Want something that's fairly lightweight, easy to fold and good on uneven ground as will want to get out and about once baby is here. Thanks!!!

I got the Ickle bubba stomp luxe travel system and it was £499 when i got it x

We went for mamas and papas Ocarro as we live in the countryside, it came with the maxi cosi cabriofix car seat, we ordered ours from winstanley pramworld but practised collapsing it in mamas and papas first

We went for mamas and papas ocarro with cybex z2 car seat and 360 base (because of the lie flatter option and ease of getting little one in and out). It felt like the most sturdy of the ones we tried. There were lighter options but the wheels didn't seem as robust. Saying that i'm very weak and i manage to lift it š

We went for the oyster 3 as do lots of off road walking with the dogs, it folds small for my car and is light.

@Olga that's a great idea, bought a few other bits second hand so will deffo take a look again once we figure out what we want x

Weāve gone for the iCandy travel system, super easy and lightweight and great for urban and country walks! Then the maxi cosi pebble 360 for our car seat

Weāve gone for the mamas and papas flip xt3 travel system, the price depends which car seat you get with it, you can get a normal one with isofix base for cheaper or the more expensive one (Ā£1099) is a car seat that you can extend so they can stay in it longer, I felt the Ocarro was abit bulky for me. The flip xt3 was just right and easy to put up/down etc, the ocarros are also slightly more expensive I think x

I found thereās a trade off between light weight vs all terrain. We went for the icandy peach 7, good for roads and also for forest.

Weāve gone for the mamas and papas flip xt3 bundle. Was going to go for the bundle that included the car seat but opted for a different car seat (Avionaut Cosmo) after weeks of research on car seat safety. Really happy with the choices! X

We have just bought the nuna mix next. easy to fold and lightweight but good for countryside walks too. Came with the nuna 360 car seat and bassinet £1100.

weāve done the same! I wanted something lightweight that can be folded one handed, but wasnāt too flimsy. The fold on the Nuna triv is amazing. We also got the carrycot to allow for daytime naps, although the seat does fully recline.
