They did at mine I just asked them not to tell me at the start and she wrote it down for me and put it in an envelope x
Oh bless you. I didn’t think they did. I think we will go private if that’s the case - I think the 20wk will fall when we’re on holiday and I’d quite like to find out, on a beach somewhere, just me and my partner 🌞
They did for me just on the back of the scan pics which were in an envelope so my partners kids could open and tell us that was in June 2022 x
I got the nhs and a private scan just to make sure the gender was right heard too many stories of nhs getting it wrong didn’t wanna chance it haha
Depending on hospital as southtyneside 2014 and 2017 and Gateshead QE 2021 did for my but RVI 2016 said they wouldn't x
I went to the rvi and I asked them to write it down and she wrote it on the back of a scan and popped it in a sealed envelope
Depends on the sonographer and their policy. The scans are purely medical so they can use the reason of not participating in the gender side of things - I’ve heard quite a few people who’ve not been able to from their NHS scans . Check with your midwife / hospital whether it’s an option or not
I know a lot don’t as people have been known to “lose” the envelope in order to get another scan. Me and my husband went private for our gender scan. They wouldn’t even give me the login to the pictures online as they knew I would peek before my reveal 🤦♀️🤷♀️
They said that they couldn’t for us, and this was 21 weeks ago, I think it just depends on which hospital you go to, my friend who is a midwife said it’s incase they get the gender wrong 🤷♀️
They won’t write it down but see if they will tell him at the end when ur not in room
I payed private for my second child but for first they said they couldnt write it down
I was at the RVI only 8 weeks ago for my 20 week scan and I didn’t want to find out gender so she said she would print off a scan photo, write the gender on the back and put it in an envelope 😊

No they won’t. Well said they wouldn’t for me back in 2021. I ended up finding out and sorting the reveal out myself as a surprise for everyone else xx
