Ickle Bubba Stomp 4 - Straps too loose

Does anyone know if the straps can be any tighter? I’ve tried to search everywhere, have asked friends to see if they can get them any tighter but no luck.

Edit: the buckle is the tightest it can go, and the straps are sewn onto the back padding, so it can’t be tightened from behind the chair either (if that makes sense)

Might seem silly as I don’t know the pram but is there little tighteners under the padding on the straps? That’s where mine are on my buggy (not sure if you would’ve tried it or not!)

I have the v3 and as Summer says it’s under the padding bit!

Can you lower the straps? I’m sure there is two levels

Slide the shoulder pads down and you’ll find a buckle to adjust the strap

Not about the straps... But the cutest little yawn!!! 🫶🏼

Hey guys, there is no option to tighten it behind the padding as the straps are sewn onto the back, and the buckle is the tightest it can be 🥲

Avatar

thank you, I have to agree 😂🥰

Avatar

no, there’s only one buckle & where it secures/clips in, there’s nothing to tighten it 🥲

I have this pram and there’s an adjuster buckles on ours…. It’s not like wedged in the hole where the strap comes out of is it?

Avatar

I’ve got the same pushchair and the only way I can see to tighten the straps is with the a buckle under the shoulder straps. However ours is tightened all the way as well and is still loose on my 9 month old

Avatar

when you mean the adjuster buckles, do you mean the black buckles that tighten the straps or make them longer? If so, they are at the very top of the strap, as high as it can go.

I can’t see a hole where the start of the strap comes out of, as it is sewn onto the chair 😩

Avatar

I’ll see if I can move that up tomorrow, however doesn’t that mean the sides where their legs are will be loose? I honestly hate this pram with all my heart looool

Avatar

ahhhhh yeah that’s what I meant, sorry. My boy is really big though so that could be why he fits into the shoulder straps, but the straps that go round the waist are super loose on ours but look nice and fitted on yours!

Avatar

I think I’m going to complain to them about it, as she’s too small for the actual chair but too big for the newborn insert! Contrary to belief, it’s still a bit loose around the legs too 🙃 so so dangerous

Avatar

I have the same issue with the V3, big design fault!

Avatar

that’s really bad, I might complain because surely that isn’t safe?

Bassinet to Crib

My LO is 10 weeks and growing fast! She has already doubled her birth weight and is “tall” I know I’ll have to transition her to a crib. She currently sleep beside our bed in her bassinet. Curious - when and how did that happen for your LO? Did you move crib into your room? Sleep in their room to ease with the change?

Boy night time diapers

Hey boy mommas! I have a 5 month old tomorrow and for the past couple nights, he’s started peeing through his diapers at night and soaking his clothes. Any suggestions on the best night time diapers for baby boys who pee a lot?

Next to me crib

Is my baby growing out of her next to me? She’s 4.5 months old and I’m not ready to put her in her own room yet (I know should wait until 6 months anyway) but is she still okay in this crib?

Bed sharing mamas - set up??

So I am bed sharing with my baby. It’s the only way we get sleep. She is now practicing standing and is super mobile. I feel on edge that she will fell of the bed.

How do you guys do it? Push the bed against a wall? Have you got some covers on the side . Share all your tips x

How can I get enough sleep 😴

My 11 month old has never been a great sleeper. He went to bed at 8:00pm last night. Me and my partner tidied up and went to sleep at 9ish. Baby still wakes 3 times a night and can take a while to resettle. My partner wakes up at 5 for work and he is also very tired.

He often wakes up close to my alarm too (when working). My alarm was set for 6 and baby woke up at 4:30. He only went back to sleep in his cot at 5:30. Meaning there is no time for me to go back to sleep and my day has started at 4:30.

Even when going to bed at 9, I still cannot catch enough sleep to get me through the day. I am 14 weeks pregnant and the tiredness is hitting me hard.

Don't understand the white soft play trend

Is anyone else confused why there are so many white/cream soft plays popping up everywhere. Visually they are so dull and not stimulating for a child. I would never pay the ridiculous prices they ask (more than normal soft play)
