Don't understand the white soft play trend

Is anyone else confused why there are so many white/cream soft plays popping up everywhere. Visually they are so dull and not stimulating for a child. I would never pay the ridiculous prices they ask (more than normal soft play)

My daughter was a late walker at nearly 20 months but this one is determined to climb, cruise, move at not even 9 months. Any tips on helping him move around safely when I’ve got him and his sister (3) to watch?

Ftm 31 weeks pregnant advice please 🫶🏻

I’m so excited and trying to get organised but not sure if I’m rushing. All advice welcome❤️

1. I’m having an elective c section what after care bits were actually helpful? Are the silicone patches worth it when did you start using and what brand is best? Was a peri bottle still necessary for cleaning the downstairs area or not?

2. Maternity bras. What ones would you recommend and also when did you get them I was thinking of getting them pretty soon but also not sure if they’ll fit by the time I need them or did you just size up or waited till closer to the time?

3. When did you start washing baby clothes and packing hospital bag? I pretty much have everything we need already so I could pack now I just don’t know if I should wait. Same with washing babies clothes etc I plan on washing all newborn and 0-3 months initially then bigger sizes closer to when she’ll actually need them but I still have 8 weeks how early did you start washing clothes and organising drawers etc?

Bassinet to pram seat?

When did you make the change? Nearly 4 months old and naps in her pram, she woke up today and decided to roll over in the bassinet 😂 Is it time to put the chair on? :(( she’s probably more than ready, I however, am not 😭

Sleep regression

Can someone please tell me this gets better 😭😅
My baby was sleeping really well and now his sleep is completely chaotic, he will go to sleep initially but then 3 hours later he’s making noises, crying out etc and then it’s every hour after that!😭 he can fall asleep on his own most of the time so I don’t understand this and what I’m meant to do. He’s 13 weeks old but I’d say the disrupted sleep has been happening for the past 2/3 weeks.
Anyone else? or anyone else been through this and know when it ends/how to help it?

Frozen Colostrum

My partner woke up with a cold on Monday, and I knew it was obviously going to do the rounds in our house! 🙄

I have a bit of a sore throat/headache - nothing major, but little miss (nearly 10 weeks) has woken up a little bit bunged up today. 🤧

I managed to collect and freeze about 50ml of colostrum before she arrived, and I’m wondering if I should give her some of that preemptively? If so, how much is enough? Wanna protect my supply as much as I can especially with winter on the way but if I can use it as a preventative measure I absolutely will! 🤷🏼‍♀️🫶🏼

What do we think about this, am I being dramatic for being annoyed ?

Last time my in laws saw baby, she was super unhappy because she was hungry (The mum kept saying to just give her a dummy) I left the room about 5 times to breastfeed so they hardly saw her.

Last night we visited them & I made sure I even topped up with formula to avoid that situation happening again so they can have some nice cuddles. She had been awake for ages then fell asleep on the 5 min car journey there.

When we got there and put her in their arms…all they both did was complain that she’s sleeping and kept saying “do something” and kept shaking her arms and legs and poking her face and saying “wake up”.

I explained to them to please do NOT wake her as I’ve literally only just got her to sleep 5 mins ago so she will be super unhappy, she will just cry and want boob. Did they listen? No.

She’s a newborn for Christ sake. When she’s awake she doesn’t do much anyways. What do they expect?

The mum then phoned her neighbour and asked if she wanted to come see the baby (didn’t ask me if that was ok, this person is a stranger to me). She came in with her husband and child, all started touching her….they all visibly had a rotten cold !!!
After some time, they admitted they were really ill. I just looked at my partner, hoping he’d say something in that moment.
But I mean, the damage was already done. They’ve all already touched her and got up in her face.

Every time I visit my in laws they do stuff I’m not happy with. Just puts me off seeing them every time.

I can’t mention it to my partner because any time I do, he gets defensive and angry at me🤣
