I stopped cold turkey at 10w with both my successful full term pregnancies.
I felt the same way but trusted my doctor and so far all is well! The reason they have you stop around now is the placenta takes over hormone production so your body will no longer be producing those hormones anyway. You got this!
I totally get how your feeling. I felt the same way. I stopped around 12 weeks. The doctor explains that is when the placenta takes over creating the hormones needed to hold the pregnancy. I’ll be 25 weeks tomorrow with my ivf baby.
I was scared as well (I think it’s common feeling) and stopped mine at 11 weeks and I am now 18w2d and baby is continuing to grow well.
Is your doctor tracking your levels? It’s super nerve wracking but what helped me was the process my doctor put in place. We slowly weened off and tracked my levels to make sure everything was fine.
I really wish i enjoyed those early day, weeks and months. It felt like i held my breath for 3 months just waiting to get past that mark but then i had a whole new set of worries and anxiety Try to enjoy this as much as you can hun and congratulations x
I was exactly the same and I was really worried but once the baby has a heartbeat, they’re developed past the riskiest stage. Try not to worrry too much, I did go for a couple of extra scans in the early days as I was worried so maybe do that if you’re concerned? I’m 22 weeks now with my first transfer and I stopped meds at 10 weeks 🤞🤞 good luck!!
