Hi, I’m going to Turkey when baby is around 9 months. Think the water isn’t safe to drink so assume I need to look for low sodium bottled water to make up formula. Also any tips on cleaning/sterilising bottled and making them up when in a hotel.

When we went to Gran Canaria I bought a pop up bucket from Amazon and then used Milton Cold Water Sterilising tablets to sterilise my bottles. Got a bottle of washing up liquid from a local shop and had a bottle brush packed in my suitcase. Just became part of my morning routine to change the water in the bucket and put a new sterilising tablet in x

I used bottled water in France, evian is safe. But you just need to look for one with a baby symbol on the back.
I used a nuby rapid cool for my bottles. We're on special formula so it has to be room temperature before the powder is added.
We have self sterilising bottles in the microwave so just sterilised that way

We went to Turkey when my little one was 6 months. I just used bottled water the hotel provided and boiled it before making bottles up for the day. I then just took a Tupperware box so I could sterilise the bottles. We had no issues and my little girl was fine.
thank you that’s so helpful 😊
that’s great. Not sure how easily I will get to a supermarket straight away. So I might get a bottle in the airport to keep us going till we can 😊
