Health visitor

I’ve had mine already, had one first time round too (phone call because of covid) - they just generally want to check in and see how you’re getting on, have a little chat about feeding, night ask you about having any pets etc. mine have both been fine and fairly informal 😊👍

I know that it’s different everywhere but my HV, unlike my midwife, has been the same one with my first and now second and has felt really personal and lovely!

It’s a standard practice I’m a HV and in my area we don’t have the staff to offer the antenatal visit but it’s usually just an introduction, discuss feeding plans so they can support early if needed, give safe sleep info, generally just get to know you so that the next visit isn’t as long
