Am I being petty?

So my partners dad side of the family I don’t get along with as well as I do his mums side of the family. There isn’t any issues I just have a better relationship with his mum and their side of the family. So my birthday was about a week ago and his mums family gave me gifts, birthday cards, spent time with me etc. His dads side however didn’t even get me a birthday card, nothing at all.. bare in mind I’ve made the effort my end to get hampers for them all for their birthdays, gave them money for their birthdays, brought loads of gifts. It just shocked me when I didn’t even get a £1 birthday card and it made me feel even more that they don’t like me… my partner didn’t even notice until I pointed it out to him today and he told me they may have just forgot even though he told them all on the day it was my birthday? I don’t ever ask or expect much but when I just gave birth 5 weeks ago to their nieces / granddaughter it would’ve been nice to just show me some appreciation. Am I being too petty?

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

Worth the wait and pain. Baby girl arrived at 7:15 this am weighing 7lbs 6oz. She is so calm and chill.

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !

Growth scan

So had my 28 week midwife appointment- all good but after measuring bump- I’m now waiting on a scan within a few days as bump is measuring small I’m not worried as I am guessing a tape measure is hardly accurate but
For anyone who has been in a similar position- what was the outcome after the scan? Was the baby on the smaller side ?
Was baby measuring normal?
