As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?
Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

I didn’t have a planned c-section so I can’t comment on that, but I was induced due to my GD being pretty crazy in the last few weeks of pregnancy, and it was an amazing birth! I was in labour for 26 hours and had the foley balloon and pitocin drip, if you’d like to message me I’d be happy to answer any questions! Everyone’s experience is different, so when I was told I needed to be induced I tried not to listen to the negative stories, but I know how hard it is x

My waters broke naturally but I wasn’t contracting so I had to be induced, both the gel and the hormone drip. C-section was last resort for me and I had a really positive birth. It’s long and can come on pretty quickly but it’s worth it all in the end! X

If i have another baby i will definitely choose a c section. I was induced with 3 pessary’s, a drip and waters broken and still nothing happened so it ended in emergency c section.
I feel like all of that caused me to panic and tense up so much that my body didn’t do what it should have done x

If i was ever mad enough to have another id still pick induction over c section. If I can avoid that pain again I would. The drip unmedicated was no where near as painful as my c section recovery. Which is also why I will never have another child. That pain was too much

i was induced and it ended up being an emergency c-section

I think every reason will have different experiences with this, my friend for example had a very straight forward induction and would happily do it again.
I had a 5 day induction that ended in an emergency section, which was pretty traumatic and a very long recovery time.
I'm currently debating whether to go into labour naturally or have a planned section. Either way, I will never ever have an induction again - but that is my own experience with it and won't necessarily be yours x
