Fundal height

In my trust if your 2cm more or less you are referred for a growth scan, have you been referred for one?

Ultrasound is recommended usually to check the actual weight of baby

Also try not to worry before you have your scan (assuming this is what has been recommended) - fundal heights are notoriously inaccurate as people vary so much! Look at how different people can look at the same gestation with regards to their bump size - massive variation! A scan is way more accurate at knowing if you are on the right track or not.

About to have a growth scan in few hours will update once I have the results

Apparently the doctor was right the baby is slightly smaller than required for the number of weeks, I am also informed that amniotic fluid is just adequate. So they advised me to drink more water, keep a track if I am leaking amniotic fluid, and increase my nutrition and calorie intake. I was eating very carefully to avoid excess weight gain and now I feel guilty 🙁

@Nikhath don't feel guilty! Baby puts most of the weight on in 3rd trimester so you have time to help baby grow, ask for a dietician referral if you want more focused weight gain
