Waters

Mine were very see through but honestly for me the smell is what was the difference between dampness and waters. Waters smelt like semen !

Make sure you put a pad in and get checked. They will want to know how much you're leaking. They can do a test to see if your waters have gone. Xx

My water broke last night. It was clear in colour. I have just gone toilet and went to bed and suddenly everything was wet. I am currently hospital for observations as no signs of contractions. My waters continue to trickle.

It’s definitely more of a slight trickle, just wetter than usual (hopefully not tmi) it doesn’t feel or look thick like discharge, it’s just clear and looks like water. It doesn’t have a smell of such. I have some cramping and tightenings but they usually do feel worse on a night time.

Not sure how far along you are but if you think it might be your waters you need to be seen. First of all because to find out whether it is you waters, secondly because you might need antibiotics to keep you and baby healthy and thirdly because you could go into labour.

Definitely get seen. At the very least they can put your mind at rest if it's not your waters. There's a simple swab test and they can look at your cervix to check if it's closed and the mucus plug still in place.
