Mucus Plug

I’m currently 25 weeks pregnant and have been losing pieces of my mucus plug since 16 weeks. Although the last two days I lost large chucks of it which were bigger than a quarter. Has anyone experienced this before?

Because I ended up in the ER twice; the first time when I started losing my mucus plug and had contractions at 16 weeks then the second where I had a big gush of fluid which they don’t know what it is and a part of my mucus plug came with it at 22 weeks. I know what my mucus plug looks like at this point in my pregnancy as confirmed by doctors.

Definitely see you doctor asap ASAP

that’s my concern the last two days has been chucks bigger than a quarter which is unusual normally I lose little bits here and there

When u say chunks r they like solid? Mine have increased since 30+ but it’s still liquid form :/ and I’d call triage anything u think is concerning call ur midwife she will give u the number or just go in hospital u would rather b reassured then wonder what if xx

is there blood ?

I lost mine in the early third trimester with my first. It regrows though

not solid still very jelly like just very chunky

no blood at all which is why I’m not hugely concerned

I wouldn’t be concerned either since it’s no blood

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃
