I am recently post partum . My husband at times can be a bit of a handful. I tend to be forgetful pre child but now sometimes I don’t know where I leave a couple of small items like razor packs . Am I the bad person for forgetting it or are they overreacting about the Situation. I feel sad and just feel like crying rn . He’s usually very thoughtful with smallest of things . Does this happen in everyone’s relationship?

I don’t have any advice other than the forgetting continues for a while after postpartum. Before the baby I was always on my a game - ocd cleaner and organizer. And everything still has a place sometimes it’s just like 3 am when my baby feeds and I put something somewhere and I’m like I have to remember that’s there and then when I need it I spend 2 hours looking for it because it’s not in the spot it’s supposed to be. Also I’ll take out the trash and forget to put a bag in EVERYTIME now

So don’t feel bad forgetting stuff is normal af

It never affected our relationship, but I definitely forgot (and still forget) a lot more after having children! I used to be on top of everything, but when you add babies to the mix your mental load is maxed out much quicker lol I did start taking lions mane as a supplement though when I feel extra brain fog and it’s helped a LOT!
