So I go out with both kids practically every day now on my own and it seems like wherever I go, someone always has something to say. For example, today some Karen decided to pipe up in regards to Isabel being in the sun and tried telling me what to be doing 🙃These people just feel the need to say something, but didn't like it when I answered back 🙄 She then took it upon herself to threaten me in front of my kids 😡 Had her looking like a right fool and of course I told her to fuck off come the end of it, but come on man. How are you supposed to deal with twats like that? I don't need no patronising or rude comments thanks. I know you could say to just ignore these people, but I just cannot do that when I'm being judged as a mother. Seems like everywhere I'm going at the mo, someone has something to say. Feel like wearing a sign on my forehead saying "mind your business"

I have just one day with both my kids and honestly feel like i need a medal after, people should be praising you or giving you medals 😂 no need for mum police

I think it happens especially (not exclusively) when you look like a young mother…. People always have something to say. I crossed the road with Zakai the other day but didn’t do it on part of the crossing but knew it was safe because of how the lights work, some guy said it’s this way and I turned around and just said “I’m aware” and carried on about my business but it’s so annoying!

I know right. I've been really proud of myself recently and then I have to deal with these situations and it's really starting to get to me. I don't want to be seen as one of those mum's who's swearing in the street etc, but I will come for anyone that threatens me. I just can't let that shit go, but I'm aware I'm in a vulnerable situation with 2 kids, so it's like do I just not retaliate, but then I'm seen as weak, but then at least my kids aren't put in danger etc. Just some fucking wrongens in the world. Doesn't help that I'm living in a shit area at the mo, but hoping to move soon x

I think this is bang on tbh because I do look really young and still get ID'd for energy drinks 🙃I just won't have it though. I do not and will never understand why people seem to care so much about children they do not know. Infuriates me man, but I will never back down to these dickheads x

So sorry you had this happen to you, as if looking after little ones isn’t hard enough. I’m an older than average first time mum and still get unwanted comments from strangers (all OAPs without fail 🙄) which infuriates me - mind your own business!

I had an older bloke the other day start saying "argh" on the bus 'cause my oldest started kicking off like usual and he got off at the same stop as me so I confronted him and said "you better not of been arghing on the bus 'cause my daughter was kicking off" and then we began arguing and then he threatened to hit me in front of my kids 🙃 x

bang on lol xx

Tbf it has been sweltering lately and small kids shouldn't be out in the sun/heat. Especially if they're under 1. I mean I wouldn't dare go up to some random and say that. My kids are 7,6&2 I havnt allowed them out once it hits 22 degrees. Sunburn, sunstroke and heatstroke are all major issues I don't think many people think will affect our young kids. X

I get told how to parent with maxi all the time (obviously my other 2 are at school) they look at me see I look quite young then proceed to tell me what I should be doing… I hit them with the thanks, but he’s my 3rd child, I’m a registered childminder and I have a degree in childcare I think we’re good 👍
Just say thanks for your help this is my 3rd and 4th child we’re all doing great 😂

that’s horrific, what a nasty, bitter old bastard

It's the staring I find hard if Oliver is having a paddy. My mam says stop thinking people are staring. It's natural to look but won't mean they are being critical. I can't help it though haha. People were staring today because all Oliver wanted to do was play with the gate at the park which I don't mind if isn't busy but he had a paddy because I said no. It's the ones that stare and don't make nice comments and a joke with you about it that gets me.
People in your area sound awful so sorry you had to deal with that. An old man threatening to hit you? Wtf?? Xx

I get what you are saying, however my life cannot stop because of the heat. It's not like we are living in a hot place like Africa. I have appointments to attend to and no one to have the kids, so that gives me no choice but for them to tag along. I protect them as best as I can with scalp spray and sun cream, even put sun cream on my 14 week old today as I'd prefer her to come out in a rash (due to a potential reaction if sun cream is put on under 6 month olds) than actually burn. Thankfully it didn't affect her at all, but people need to mind their business. All is not what it seems you know xx

I'm gonna use that hahah x

I totally get that I'm a single mum with three kids in tow. I totally get what your saying. X

pre baby I would of swung for the cunt 😅 I hate violence, but when someone is saying they're gonna assault me then I'm defending myself every damn time lol xx

I'm not so fussed about the staring, but it's the comments if someone decides to pipe up that I'm ready for to bite their head off lol. Unless you are the parent to my kid, you have no idea of what I'm dealing with so don't even bother talking 😅 I'm getting better with how I respond to the pipe up comments, but it's the threats at the mo that are bothering me. It's fucked up. The world is actually horrible at times xx

definitely to young mums! I'm 23 but look younger and have 2 children. Always getting comments "oo you've got your hands full" etc. Makes my blood boil

you feel so accomplished going out with both kids on your own though. Always got someone to try and ruin how good you feel though 😒 xx

I hate that comment!! I get it multiple times a day too with my 2 year old and 6m old

there was this woman at the park today explaining to her kid that some kids don't wear hats, but that's down to the parent and it almost felt like a dig as my eldest wasn't wearing one, so I piped up and sniggered and said she's got scalp spray on 'cause she will not tolerate a hat. Always feels like you have to defend yourself. I think I'm overthinking things at the mo though 'cause it just seems to be constant lol xx

omg, 3 😱 Well done you 😅 xx

I hate the oh your hands are full…….. kills me everytume

summer holidays have been hell. I'm really ill ATM (waiting on surgery) so every trip out was my worst nightmare. However having kids in the house was even worse. People stare and say ohh you've got your hands full or ohh wow a girl after two boys, I bet your pleased. People can't help but comment. Thankfully my older two are in school (6&7 yr old) x

and then people still watch you struggle getting off the train 🙃 xx

so sorry to hear that 😩 You're doing amazing ❤️ xx

sometimes it's just not worth it, hence me reacting in a calmer way and laughing it off lol. Still have to get my point across though 😅 x

Hahaha dw a karen decided to threaten to hit me in front of my 1 year old because she “wanted to drink her coffee in peace” in the cafe we were in and suggested i take my daughter outside. When i said my daughter is not a dog to be taken outside, this is a family cafe go elsewhere if you want peace and quiet she got up started calling me names and said do you want me to beat you up, just because you had a kid you think you’re the center of the universe? Responded just because you’re in menopause you think you are the center of the universe? She got real quiet 😂😂

this comment omg! Every time I leave the house with my boys 🤦🏼♀️😂

😲😲 as if she said that!! Jeez, triggered much.

I love this group. ❤️❤️
Totally relatable, and such bad ass mothers here..... love it
