First injections

Anyone else’s little one been really poorly after their first vaccine, my 10 week old seems so poorly and has gone so pale. I know they say they do have a reaction but it seems a lot worse than I was told🥲

My baby was not himself for 2 days after he was very feverish and just wanted lots of cuddles and sleep. I gave calpol to keep fever under control which did the trick. If your baby has gone pale I’d get them seen to asap x

it’s awful to see them like that😢 he seems to have perked up a bit now after calpol but I’ll definitely be taking him to be seen if he goes like that again x

My little one went pale and slept the whole day on the day of them, was fine the next day Just had his second lot yesterday wasn’t quite as sleepy or pale maybe as no men B vaccine this time. Would say he’s warmer but maybe down to weather, still gave all doses of paracetamol. He’s currently happily chewing his fist in cot after feed 🫠😴

It really worried me what colour he went😳 still feverish and groggy today so hopefully tomorrow he’s feeling better, aw I’m glad you’re little doesn’t seem too affected after their second one🥰

I too looked at him and thought ‘Christ he’s pale!’. He’s had a huge nap this morning (day 2 after second lot). Seems fine though!

Avatar

yeah I was the same I was close to taking him in as he didn’t look right at all, that gives me hope for the second lot then this one’s gave me a lot of anxiety x

He did cry yesterday afternoon a cry I have never heard. 30 mins of screaming and couldn’t console him at all, skim on skin, boob nothing worked. Could have been cause I woke him up to get him out car seat and was due second lot of paracetamol. Think he just felt pants and hot! Then big sleep and all ok! Horrible to see him like that but days of being unwell from illness he’s now immunised against would be worse!

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

He use to sleep through the night now he is waking up every single night in the early morning, I've had to transition him to a toodler bed as he kept climbing out his cot. Just need some advice on what I can do to help him get back in to a sleep pattern?

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
