Swelling in feet (23 weeks)

Marked as sensitive because of the feet pics šŸ™ˆ I will share more pics in the comments but I’ve been on my feet a lot today at work and have really struggled in the heat. Thought my feet were a bit sore. Went to rub them after the shower and saw my ankles have disappeared… (I have very narrow and bony feet/ankles usually so this is not normal for me) anyone else had this today? Is this something to worry about? First time mum who is an anxious worrier, I thought nothing of it it was just pregnancy swelling but mum is stressing me out about it now 😭 any advice?

My mum used to tell my sister in law who had alot of fluid to put her feet up higher than her heart.. so up on the edge of the sofa or something...

this was my thought - I had puffy hands but that’s been going on a few weeks and the midwife team weren’t worried. But my feet are huge and haven’t got any better over night either - I know it is hot but I think the swelling is pretty bad and has come on very suddenly so that’s what concerns me. What can they do for pre-eclampsia? I don’t have any of the other symptoms I don’t think so I worry they will just fob me off because of the heat instead of checking me out 😫

I’m hoping it’s just the heat šŸ¤žšŸ¼ - they are really tingling this morning but the swelling is just continuing/getting worse and happened yesterday so hopefully it will improve. I’m a teacher so will need to be on my feet quite a lot until I’m off which is why I’m a bit concerned, I was sat for a lot of the day but on my feet more than I have been but won’t be anything compared to when they are all back so I’m guessing they’ll just get bigger and bigger now 😢

I’m so sorry you’re feeling this too lovely! I’m also getting bad pain, I think it is possibly sciatic pain but I have no idea!

I have to keep an eye out for preeclampsia symptoms but have been told swelling of the hands and feet is pretty normal for pregnancy but to look out for my face and other places too

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient šŸ˜‚šŸ„²

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

Thank you
