I don't know what's going on. Am I starting my period or miscarrying.
I thought I was having pregnancy symptoms about a week and half ago my nipples were super sore for days it felt like when I was lactating type sore. Nauseated, and extremely tired, Started off with light cramping. So I took a pregnancy test this Monday and I swear I see and still see a faint skint line but everyone else (husband and sister) says they see nothing n maybe I'm just paranoid. Usually I don't cramp for an entire week before my period. Anyway got into a big fight with my SO about it mo day night. I started off with back pains that didn't really go away in any position I changed to. Then the really painful cramps started and at first I was noticing white mucus like discharge then yesterday there was a little bit of blood, and today there's more painful like stabbing cramps and back pain and blood but it's not a lot of blood. Idk what to think and feel like I'm going absolutely nuts.

If it were me I'd go get a blood test for answers. Massage oil into your womb for relief and circulation. Van try a womb steam too 💗

Would a blood test still show if it was a miscarriage? And what's womb steam?

Hi Sarah! I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this. I went through a similar situation in April, with the only difference being that I wasn't aware I was pregnant. I miscarried at week 5. When I was getting tested for other unrelated issues, they found my HCG levels slightly elevated. My doctor explained that I had a chemical pregnancy. So, to answer your question, you can still find out if you were pregnant and miscarried through a blood test.

Alright thank you! I'll definitely try getting a appointment scheduled with my OB

A womb steam is steaming your vagina and reproductive system with organic herbs , while doing intentional meditation. Google / YouTube it. It's really amazing actually and has many benefits

That's sounds harmful

@Sarah if it's super early it may not show in blood. Mine wouldn't have as it was negative after being positive on a very sensitive 6ui home test (>5 being pregnant)

I think it's early. Ive googles very faint positives and they say it's usually faint almost unrecognizable if it's still early and there's not enough HCG yet. after I gave birth to my first daughter, I got the nexplanon implant. For the first 7-9 months on it I barely bled barely cramped. Then they got irregular and I started getting them twice a month the next month only once then I didn't get it at all and last month I got it, super smooth. These cramps remind me of the contractions I had when I was 3cm dilated. So to have them be super painful again after a year on birth is taking me for a whirl. So I'm going crazy not knowing. I'm trying to schedule an appointment but I'm having insurance issues currently.

@Sarah I've heard people in the US just go directly to the lab for bloods. Can you do that? My first positives weren't even faint but it got lighter then I stopped testing and the spotting I had stopped for days then one day insane pain nothing like a period contractions right up my back and so much blood. Then I tested stark white negative.

Labs still cost a bunch of money. Even with a private insurance back when I was getting blood drawn for my first baby the bills were up in the thousands. I actually had to ask for state Benefits to help with my private insurance. And the only reason I have private insurance is because my mom's job(teacher) offers family health benefits. After I turn 25 I loose that private insurance all together

@Sarah is there such a thing as a finger prick home test you post back over there? We have them here in the UK and it costs like £60-80 only thing is by the time you recieve it your blood could be even less high in hcg if you need to wait on it being posted to you

@Sarah do planned parenthood etc help with this stuff for free?

I don't know about the prick test. But I live in Texas so there's no planned parent hoods around me or near enough to go to. They all got shut down.

@Sarah that sucks they got shut down

it really does they won't even do abortions for ectopic abortions here. People have to fly out of the state to get one done.

Would it help to post the test here for us to see if we can see the line? People on here may be a bit more experienced in spotting very faint lines on tests. Realistically there's no action you can take but I completely understand wanting to know x

i never heard of womb steam sounds interesting . is it safe to do while pregnant ?

I googled womb steaming. It's not really proven to do anything beneficial in fact it's more likely to cause an infection since the scented steam can cause your PH to get unbalanced. It's like rubbing your coochie with a scented soap bar. Doesn't really do much. Especially since the vagina and cervix are closed canals the steam ain't reaching in there

I mean I'll do it but honestly at this point I think I was just being nuts and driving my self crazy. The cramping has stop it's not painful it's very dull cramping and so has the bleeding so idk what that was
