Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

In my area it’s the day after discharge, including weekends!

Yeah a day after discharge, including weekends x

Mine visited the day after we were discharged, then day 5 after birth aswell. After that they rang me to discharge me from the midwife services, so I'm just under the health visitor now x

Day after check on us and baby, if you breast feed you may have the feeding team contact you to visit to offer support and the day 5 you’ll have weighing /prick test etc by midwife , then around 10 ish days health visitor

Thanks all! Saw midwife today, my brain just went blank and I couldn’t remember!

Mine happened 5 days after being discharged from hospital

They came the next day after I was discharged from the hospital and that was on a Saturday

Wierd one

Am I the only person with an anterior placenta who just felt there baby start kicking and now when ever I wake up I struggle to go back to sleep becuase baby is very very active and no stop kicking me ???? Not that I dont enjoy it i do but I still want sleep. Also it is only me who has like 3 months left and can only drink coke cola

Son’s Birthday

So I do not have any friends with children or many friends at all lol and I was wondering if any mommy’s would like to join my son and I for his third birthday ? My mother passed a year ago and she was pretty nice with planning and inviting family but I am not that good at that. My son’s father/my fiance has also passed recently and I am just hoping that friends can join and show love for my son…
