Induction

Come in at 2 o’clock yesterday to be induced and still waiting for a space on labour ward to have waters broken 😞 we have been left in a room with no updates for 5 plus hours at a time. really wish they would have just let me stay home and phone once a bed is available. Praying that space becomes available this morning! Also really confused as they pushed for induction as they are concerned about baby as he has stopped growing. But if they was that concerned surely we would be a priority! 😬

I was in the same position, came in on a Tuesday and was told they would break my waters when a bed was available. Was also told there was a good chance one would be available everyday I stayed there . Thursday came along and I naturally started to labour and managed to deliver Friday without an induction. Was barely checked the whole time, and was never updated 😩

Don't know where in the country you are but all labour wards are busy. There is a girl in the bed across from me on the induction ward and she has been waiting for a bed on labour ward for her waters to be broken since Saturday :(

They should be keeping an eye on you though...they did the balloon procedure on me yesterday but the Care has been great checking on me and baby at least every 4 hours x

Im in fir baby being small too, just depends who else is being taken in as they will prioritise people in actual labour before us regardless. The poor ladies on the ward with me one has pre-eclampsia and the other her cord isn't feeding baby properly and they are not a priority...as if a women's waters have gone naturally she is considered the priority due to infection if that makes sense x

This happened to me with my last baby. I was called in at 11am on the Wednesday to be induced, space wasn’t available until 3pm then next day when I had my waters broken. It’s very frustrating all the waiting around. I really hope you’re see m soon 😊

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

Thank you
