I did, my little one is newly obsessed with mickey mouse, so I got her donald and daisy duck off of vinted she was very happy

Yes it got my little boy and dinosaur robot

Yes I'm going to get my little girl either some Mr men books as she loves the little miss ones also thought this would be handy to read them when feeding baby

When we were reading a book about new baby arriving that mentioned presents my daughter turned to my bump and said “baby sister can I have a sparkly pushchair and chase teddy?” And she has stuck to that every time so my mum sourced a sparkly pushchair and I’ve got a chase teddy off Vinted 😂 I didn’t dare face the wrath of my very headstrong nearly 3 year old!

Lego

We got our eldest some accessories for her doll that she’s currently obsessed with and a little toy car. She loved them all.

I got a kids camera for my 4 year old and gave him the special task of taking pics of the new baby and all the visitors. 2 weeks later, and he’s still so proud of it!

We got our 3yo the Bluey colouring, sticker books and a book and she was super happy that her little sister had bought them as they are her favourite things x

Yes, a Playmobil pirate ship!

We’ve got my 3.5yr old a lightning McQueen remote control car and my Hey Duggee obsessed nearly 2 yr old a Hey Duggee talking teddy from the baby
Has anyone else paid for a scan and not been able to see baby’s face? My partner feels like it was a waste of money I see where he’s coming from but I’m just glad I got to hear baby’s heart beat and seeing the baby moving. What would you do?

Hey, im going to be 37 next year, i have a 2 yr old and my and my partner are considering a second child. With my first I had to have an emergency c section so likely would be booked for a c section for a 2nd. Can anyone shed some hard truth stories of having a second my age as well as having a 2nd c section and the recovery

I’m just sitting here minding my own business at 8 months pregnant and my toddler comes up to me and says “who got you pregnant”!!!
I looked at her like “what” and she repeated herself so I said “her daddy”! So she said “why did my daddy get you pregnant” 😳
So I said “I don’t know”! She says “it’s fine I will call him and ask him”…. She grabs my phone calls her dad who’s at work and he was sounded mortified, when she said “why did you get my mummy pregnant”! I couldn’t fully remember what he said because I couldn’t stop laughing!!! Nothing can prepare you to be a parent to a toddler!! 😭😂

Im 40 weeks on Sunday and have a C-section booked for Tuesday. I don’t want the section but because of previous C-section due to preemie baby I’m not allowed to be induced - either by body goes into labour naturally or C-section :( - I have a needy toddler at home so would prefer natural in terms of recovery!
Please give me all your tips 🙏🏼

Had regular contractions last night for an hour but they weren’t painful. Just like period pains. My waters appeared to break and trickle from 10.30pm last night. Called home birth midwife who told me to get checked in the hospital as I had brown discharge which they wanted to rule out wasn’t meconium (confirmed it’s not). But they confirmed my waters have broke. Got to go into labour ward at 10.30 tonight to talk to doctor about antibiotics and now I can’t have my home birth of birth centre birth 😭 Contractions have pretty much stopped. I’ve had a bloody show but guys what is happening. I hope I go into labour before 10.30pm as I don’t want an induction. Any advice?
