Has anyone found that bouncing on a ball at home actually helped bring labour on or broke their waters?
If so, how quickly can this happen

Well I have been bouncing on mine 8hours a day because I'm still working from home off it and still not gone into labour yet 🤣 although I am only 38weeks+3 🧡 x

Started bouncing on my ball religiously at 38 weeks, went into labour at 42+3 🤣

I think the whole purpose of the ball is to encourage baby to be in the correct / optimal position in the pelvis for birth … I just use my ball as it feels more comfortable than sitting on the sofa etc 😅

I was bouncing on my ball at 4am in the morning as was uncomfortable and no signs of her coming at all, waters broke at 11am that same day
I only used it for a few weeks used it more when baby in awkward position and to relief discomfort. But hadn't used it in a week used it and yeah so don't know if was the ball or not lol

I have a friend who went into labour the first time she bounced on hers, so it was pretty good for her 🤣

They wanted to induce me as they thought he was going to be 9lbs 7oz, but I didn't want to be so opted for monitoring instead. I managed to get to 9cm unmedicated! He was born weighing 8lb 2oz and is absolutely perfect 🥰
