I'm packing my switch!

Im bringing my switch too for Animal Crossing 🥹 I dont think its weird lol and who cares what people think!
The checklist Kelly sent its great!

I’m currently still in hospital and agree with Kelly’s pic above + below:
I would bring a book or your switch!
I had a pretty rough experience with delivery so they were always checking my stomach and cervix post partum. I recommend extra nightgowns you’re comfortable in because sweats or pants will make it hard for you to take off to have them check everything in case something happens.
Swaddle zipper and or velcros if you have any. My baby ended up getting out of blanket swaddle because he moved around a lot. Zipper is godsend.
Baby travel white noise machine.
I just did a face mask after my first shower and I feel so alive again.
If you’re getting epidural, beware it might make you cold so bring warm fuzzy socks / warm fuzzy robe.
Extra empty bag for hospital freebies
An empty file folder or two for hospital docs.
Try not to overpack too because hospital will give you everything you need as well. From baby stuff to your stuff.

My hospital did run out of those large pads so I’m glad I brought my own adult diapers as well. I also am glad I brought my own stool softener because they kept forgetting to administer some to me. For some reason my doctor forgot to add those to my list of meds.
If you wear contacts, bring your glasses!
Baby going home outfit for pics.
Refillable Water bottles for you and dad. Better than having to constantly ask nurses and or go to the cafeteria or nutrition station on your floor.

Actually I was just reading about finding a good distraction so def take your switch if that works for you!

For myself I honestly just wore pyjamas and my nursing tank the whole time ! And things I found really helpful to pack were snacks , a charger , water bottle , chap stick , lotion , sleep mask , slippers , hair elastics , blanket and pillow from home .

For my baby was swaddles , sleepers , hat and blanket

After my experience, I truly didn’t need much! Main thing I used was my portable fan and sound machine. Baby liked being swaddled in the hospital blanket. Had 2 newborn outfits for him and some burp cloths. I stayed in one pair of pj’s and used the hospitals post partum supplies lol. They also supplied baby diapers & wipes!
