Leg cramps

Is anyone else getting really bad leg cramps at night? I had it 4x last night where it woke me up and was so painful, I had to walk around the room to ease it and this morning my muscles are still sore from where they were cramped up.

Yes! I have to be careful not to stretch my legs in the night as it brings it on, but I've found rolling my ankles round helps and my midwife told me to eat more bananas as apparently potassium helps?

you’re definitely not! 😫 least it seems a normalish pregnancy symptom (that I’ve never heard of or been told about before)!

yes I’ve had this for a few months on and off it feels like no matter what I do I can’t get rid of it but my foot locks to the side too so I can’t even stand on it hah but my muscles usually hurt for a few days after and I heard bananas are good I tried it so hopefully it works

Yessss!!! Last few nights my legs jolt and move like I’m having A fit. And it lasts for hours. But I’m noticed if I drink loads of water it normally helps x

Yesss. Been like this for months. Been told have a banana before bed. And to wear compression socks. Also been told tonic water helps if you can drink it x

ohhh never thought of adding lemon to it. I was just drinking it normal adding nothing. Thank you x

Thanks all, I tried the banana and milk trick last night and got my massage gun out and I had no cramps last night! I’m drinking more water today and got some tonic water as people suggested so I’m trying literally every suggestion so they don’t come back 🤣

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?

Thank you
