Episiotomy sore 6 weeks on

Yes mine was 7 weeks tomorrow and felt like it was healing but with the weather an walking more its become sore again. Not sure how long it's meant to be uncomfortable xx

Is yours like an achy feeling? I’m 6 weeks on Sunday and thought everything was back to normal but every now and then it feels really tight and achy but it’s not painful or uncomfortable just annoying? I’ve not done any long walks yet tho because of the fear it’s gonna hurt it again 😭

Yeah it's achy and just uncomfortable now and then, I keep thinking has it not healed properly then it goes OK for a few days 🤷🏽‍♀️ I should have my check up with the doctor next week so I'll ask then xx

I'm the same :( ended up going to hospital with the pain and was told it's still just healing etc. I do think women's pain is dismissed. I'm also 6 weeks pp x

I’m now 9 weeks pp. I had this and asked the doctor to check at my 6 week appointment and she said it was all fine, but it’s completely normal for it to take a while. She said I might not feel completely right for some time! I walk a lot and even now sometimes feel some discomfort after a long walk. Not sure if it’s scar tissue being tight?!

I had a look yesterday and it all looks perfectly healed so it must be the tissue internally. Very frustrating as I thought 6 weeks PP I'd be near enough back to 'normal'. Reassuring to know it isn't just me though!

I'm getting on for week 7 this Saturday and was getting worried as mine is quite tender and stings sometimes after going the loo. I do walks with the dog and wasn't really told to limit activity. Lots of the info and nhs info online says should heal in around 4 weeks 😵‍💫 I've not had them checked or my gp check yet, wondering if should book in sooner or give it a little longer to heal.
