I have had it like 3 times
And it made me really sick
Once you start having temperature the only way out is antibiotics
Make sure baby feeds every 2 hrs or less from that boob

oh god just the once is bad enough! She had a bad latch when i first started BF and its never recived so its way to painful for her to feed off even with a nipple sheild so having to pump i stead x

I nearly had it at the beginning of BF - it was awful my breast got hot and hard and I had painful lumps. I pumped but I also massaged my boobs ALOT - pressed as much as I could bare on the painful lumps and it cleared up within a couple days. I felt like the massaging was the key personally. X

thats what i normally do in the shower when its blocked but this it just hurts so much moving about it hurts, il give ut a try in the shower with hot water see it relives it x

Yes it was absolutely awful you poor thing 🤕 get some antibiotics down you and you will start to feel so much better , they only took a day or so to help me feel better x

ive done some expressing and got some of the blockage out but still so painful and the fever in this heat doesnt help as well as caring for a baby and im a single parent x

I found the cabbage leaves in the fridge really helped! And yes like others have said antibiotics. After a day or so they should kick in. I permanently wore x2 tight sports bras to keep them nice and supported. Within a few days hopefully your feeling better xxx

ive heard about the cabbage leaves, my gp has prescribed me some antibiotics but didnt check my record cos i had a reaction to them when i was prescribed them when i was pregnant, had to ring 111 this morninh cos my temp was 40 and had a fever now for 2 days and i need some different antibiotics, midwives dont tell you this when promoting breast feeding 😂
