I went for my 28 week midwife appointment, I’ve been told my baby is measuring big. She is weighing 2lb 12 and percentile she is very high, on 90 I believe. My midwife mentioned I shouldn’t worry, but as per usual. I’m going to worry about it!
Does this usually mean you’ll have baby early? Either with c section or being induced?

Hey. At my 28 week appointment baby was measuring on the 97th percentile. The measurement’s aren’t accurate so I wouldn’t worry.
I went back at 31 week for my appointment and now they’ve said she’s too small! So they booked me in for a growth scan and they said she’s actually measuring average size and healthy. Xxx

I read something that said if you have a bigger baby it’s actually easier to deliver than a smaller one, as the weight pushes down etc

With fundal height measurements my baby was over the 97th percentile (at 28 weeks and 31 weeks) - just had my growth scan and he’s actually measuring 50th percentile! So I wouldn’t worry too much, fundal height is just a guide and it’s not super accurate.

I went for a scan at 26+2 and they estimated baby’s weight at 2lb 9oz and they told me it was normal weight…

My son was 97th centile throughout including on growth scans. Born 8lb 14oz. Wasn’t induced. No one was worried about it throughout.

We were also been told that baby was measuring big, however we went for a growth scan and whilst baby is a bit big it's still within normal range. Midwife said it's absolutely nothing to worry about and very unlikely to change anything about labour 🙂

I had my 28 week growth scan on Wednesday, and the baby is weighing 2lb 15oz, which shows 50th centile on my growth chart.

My growth scan at 28+5 baby was on 97th percentile and 3lb 9oz
