I was told the other day I have gallbladder stones and I need my gallbladder removing. I’m awaiting an MRCP scan to see if the ducts are blocked.
: is it possible to occur after delivery?

The NHS website states you’re more at risk of developing gallstones if you’re: female (particularly if you’ve have children)
They said I might need endoscopy. I am worried if I have to stay in hospital overnight which would affect breastfeeding to my baby. 😣
Did they say you what procedure would be ? How long and how painful?
: did you have your scan yet? What did they say?

I’m not sure what an endoscopy is for, have they said when it’ll be done? I think the procedure is an outpatient one, you can always discharge yourself if you’re feeling okay and there’s been no complications. I planning on expressing/pumping milk, worse case my partner can cup feed some formula. I’ve been told I need to wait for my scan and the surgery as I’ve had a c section 3 weeks ago.
: I just finished my MRI scan and awaiting results. Considering my postpartum stress and energy loss, I am hoping everything is fine with results as I cannot undergo all the medical treatment again 😣
May I know what symptoms you had?
